Nigerian Man Charged After Stabbing Ex's Boyfriend To Death
Fort Bend County, Texas - Nigerian man, Godson Akran has been arrested by the Police after fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend who has been identified as Taofeek Anifata at her home in the 3700 block of Daintree Park Court, off Tamarron Parkway.
The incident happened around 4:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 16th in Fort Bend County in Texas while the investigation began about 5 a.m. at 3700 Daintree Park Court in the Tammarron neighborhood, authorities report.
In one of the craziest 'Love Triangle' that we have seen, a close source informed us that all three parties in this tragic story were Nigerians. The saddest part of the story is that the Homeowner's three children watched while boyfriend was being stabbed to death.
Akran dated the homeowner for years and they have two children; a 12-year-old and 4-year-old together. Some how the romance fizzled out and the lovers lived apart for about two years now.
The woman started dating Anifata, 43, and together they had a 2-year-old child.
Ironically, Anifata was married to another woman but was spending the night at his baby mama's house when Akran showed up unannounced.
Maj. Chad Norvell, a spokesman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, said "It all happened pretty quick. She called 911 when they began arguing at the door. He left but then came immediately back. He opened the door, came inside and then got a knife from her kitchen and fought with the new boyfriend and stabbed him inside the dining area."
Akran, 38, fled the scene in a silver car with one other unidentified person. They drove a few miles before being stopped for at FM 1463 and taken into custody.
Meanwhile, Anifata's wife and friends were busy looking for him before they received the horrific news about his death.
Akran is still in police custody.
